This is stupid thinking.
Don’t get me wrong, God is sovereign! When writing about salvation Paul writes in Romans 9 that “it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.” And to that I say, Amen; God made Himself known to us! However, are we not the vessels by which God reaches others? What’s the point of being a Christian or following the Bible if we do not create change. By this thinking, once I become “saved” I have no other debts to pay nor duties to fulfill. By this thinking I shouldn’t use a seat belt because it’s already decided whether I will die today. By this thinking I should never use glasses to correct my vision nor medicine to help treat my ailments because that’s how God has deemed it to be. This thinking is stupid, and I urge you to vote no matter what party or line of thinking you’ve committed yourself to.
